Extrapolated Count & Revenue

An extrapolation is an estimation of a value based on the extending a known series. In Analytics, you can extrapolate your Response Count and Revenue data to 100% by turning on the 'Extrapolated Count' and 'Extrapolated Revenue' columns in the Columns drop down.

Extrapolated Count = (Count/Response Rate) x 100

Extrapolated Revenue = (Revenue/Response Rate) x 100

When extrapolating your response data, be cognizant of possible non-response bias, where response data may not accurately reflect your entire customer base due to biases in either the group that responded or did not. Non-response bias does not always have a negative effect – we recommend working to get your question completion rate > 50%, which is often seen as sufficient.
